Peter holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University. He first developed an interest in rehabilitation, strength training, and sports performance during his time playing district-level rugby, which grew further during his time at Hartpury College before he went onto study physiotherapy at university.
These interests also led him to specialise competitively in powerlifting, where he now holds multiple national records and is the highest-ranked male powerlifter in Scottish IPF history. Peter’s experience across multiple competitive sports gives him first-hand insight into the physical demands of performance and how your rehabilitation should be tailored to prepare you for those demands.
Alongside his physiotherapy degree, Peter has gained qualifications in sports massage and powerlifting coaching, applying these skills with both the general population and national-level athletes. His academic training broadened his clinical interests to include helping both children and adults achieve their goals, whether in sport or everyday life.
Peter combines his varied expertise to deliver personalised rehabilitation using exercise, hands-on treatment, and strength-based rehabilitation. Whatever your goal, whether that’s competing on the pitch, training in the gym, working in the garden, or simply pouring a great cup of coffee, Peter enjoys helping people get back to doing what they love. Equally important to him is helping people understand their bodies and giving them the knowledge and confidence to continue with the activities they enjoy for years to come.
