Biography
Nicholas brings a diverse academic and professional background to the team. He is currently completing a Doctorate of Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, with a focus on Parkinson’s. His studies also include a Master’s in Sport and Clinical Biomechanics and a Bachelor’s in Health and Human Performance, along with further education and training in applied neuro-biomechanics and movement neuroscience.
Professionally, Nicholas has worked in orthopaedics and performance training, holding certifications as a Hintsa Performance Coach and EXOS Fitness Specialist. His experience combines clinical practice with high-performance methodologies, allowing him to work across a broad spectrum of needs.
He takes a person-centred, analytical approach to care—aiming to provide practical, evidence-informed support that helps people move with more confidence and less discomfort. His background in neuro-biomechanics helps him consider conditions from a systems-based perspective, offering clear, structured explanations that help individuals better understand their situation.
Nicholas works with a wide range of clients, from those recovering from major injuries to those managing everyday aches or performance limitations. He believes that useful principles can be applied across all levels of ability.
Outside of physiotherapy Nick is involved in numerous activities, whether it’s CrossFit, football, running or athletics. When he is not working out (which is rare) he is cooking/baking exceptional dishes for the clinic or reading philosophy and history.
